I have been thinking about miracles in my life and how when the Lord has told me that something will happen, it does! Not in the timing I had expected usually but he always takes care of me. My last masters program I got a wound that lasted for almost 5 years. I was in the middle of my internship. I needed to just finish my internship to graduate, but the wound postponed all of that.
Every year I had to write to ULV and get permission to postpone finishing for another year because I couldn’t be in my chair long enough during the day to work in a hospital. On the 6th year they told me that that would be my last extension before I would have to retake classes in order to get my diploma.
Well the wound (which was named Bertha) finally healed like He told me it would. I had to have finished my internship by December of that year. I finished about December 20th. It was a miracle!!
So I was thinking about how He always keeps his promises, but he also makes us wait until the 4th watch, until we don’t think we can possibly wait any longer. And why does he do that? Many reasons, but one I believe, is so that we are at a point where we can truly and most definitely see his hand in our lives when the thing that we have been waiting for, finally happens! We can see how great of a miracle this blessing is! We appreciate it more and our testimony of his redeeming love for us, personally, grows!
He always keeps his promises. :)
